The mark of a good enterprise document management system is its ability to lay out workflow features in such a way that they enable maximum tasks to be accomplished with minimal expenditure of time and other resources. Globodox 7 meets this criterion. Given below are some enhancements made to Globodox’s workflow features:
- Auto Publish: This feature works along with the Draft Documents feature. Once a document has been routed for approval, you can use the auto publish activity to publish the document if all users involved in the workflow have approved the document.
- Signature: This feature allows you to automatically add a signature to a document in a Globodox Workflow. It works only for file formats for which Globodox allows Annotations (including MS Word and MS Excel files when shown via the new built-in viewer). Upon triggering this activity, it sends a task to the user whose signature is to be placed on the document. The user must allow their signature to be placed on the document. If they do, this activity will automatically place the user’s signature on the pre-determined page and position of the document.
- Auto Stamp: Globodox now allows you to add a stamp to a document automatically after reviewing the document. It works only for file formats for which Globodox allows Annotations (including MS Word and MS Excel files when shown via the new built-in viewer).
- Apply Security Label: This activity applies the specified security label to the entity (e.g. Document, Draft Document, Stack etc.) that is being routed in the workflow. For example, after a document has been routed for approval, this activity can be used to apply a security label allowing more number of users to view the approved document.
- Share: This activity shares the entity (e.g. Document, Draft Document, Stack etc.) that is being routed in the workflow. For example, after a document has been routed for approval, this activity can be used to share the approved document with more number of users.
