Globodox helps you scan documents faster using Scan Profiles

  • Do you scan paper documents regularly?
  • Do you have a paper archive that needs to be converted to a digital one?
  • Do you scan all documents of a particular type using the same settings?
If your answer to at least one of these questions is “Yes,” then you should consider using the Scan Profile feature in Globodox enterprise document management software. Scan Profile is a collection of frequently used settings that can be saved and reused to scan a document.
How to use Scan Profile to scan the same type of documents?
Let us use an example to understand how Scan Profile works. Say you scan all invoices from Acme Corp. as Black & White PDF. You can simplify your job by creating a Scan Profile. All you do is open the scan window in Globodox, click the Settings tab and fill the various fields as per your frequently used scan setting and start scanning. Now every time you need to scan invoices from Acme Corp. as Black & White PDF using those settings, you simply need to select the scan profile you saved and click Start Scan.
Destination Profile – the tool that complements Scan Profile
Not only does Globodox allow you to set scan profiles, its Destination Profile feature lets you pre-select a location where you want to store the scanned document as well as select its Document Type. This is a very helpful feature as documents with the same specifications are likely to be stored in the same folder, bearing the same Document Type.
When used in combination with Destination Profile, Scan Profile can save your employees a lot of time.Click here to learn more about Scan Profile and Destination Profile
