Whether you are an existing Globodox customer or are currently using Globodox as part of the 30 day Free Trial, there may be certain questions in your mind concerning upgrades to Version 7. In this post, we answer some such questions.
If you are currently evaluating Globodox, you can continue with the evaluation. When you purchase Globodox licenses, you will have to download and install the upgrade setup for Version 7 and apply the registration key that we send you. In the meantime, if you want to test-use the new version, you can update your setup. (Please refer to the note at the end of this post, before you proceed.)
Not at all! When you upgrade to version 7, you will need to download the upgrade setup, install it and run it. The upgrade setup will upgrade your Globodox DB but not touch your data. This means you do not lose your data. In fact, Globodox 7 will actually help you manage that data even more efficiently than before.
