How to delete a stack & stack type

What are stack types & how do they help?

Stack types are a group of related documents that share the same indexing information. You can stack together documents related to a particular client, project, month, etc, to index & find them more easily. For example: If you create a stack called ‘client’, you will be able to create a separate stack of documents for every client. You can then categorise your stacks based on metadata like ‘client name, ‘address’, ‘contact number’, ‘email ID’, etc, and you can also link documents related to each client with their respective stack, like ‘invoices’, ‘purchase history’, ‘emails’, ‘ID documents’, etc, for easier retrieval.

How to delete a stack?

To delete a stack, go to the stack type, select the stack you want to delete and click on ‘Delete’.

*Note* Only users with ‘Manage DB Schema’ privileges can delete stack types.

To delete a stack type, go to ‘Stack Types’ under ‘DB Settings’, select the stack type you want to delete and click on ‘Delete’.
