Your local capture folder will be created, and any new document getting added to the monitored folder, will automatically be transferred to your desired DB & destination profile in GLOBODOX.
Capture folders is a quick and easy way of adding documents to GLOBODOX, while simultaneously categorizing or indexing them.
There are two types of capture folders in GLOBODOX.
Local capture folder
Global capture folder
‘Local capture folder’ lets you specify a Windows Folder which GLOBODOX needs to monitor for newly added documents. All documents added to the monitored Windows Folder, will automatically be added to GLOBODOX.
To create a new local capture folder, click on ‘Tools’, click on the ‘Capture folders’ drop down and click on ‘Manage local capture folders’. Select the folder you would like GLOBODOX to monitor, select a DB to which the documents need to be added, and choose a destination profile (a destination profile lets you select the document type, stack type & folder for your documents) for your documents. Then choose whether you would like the files to be deleted from the monitored folder or be added to a ‘AddedFiles’ subfolder, and click on ‘OK’.
