What is document indexing & how does it help?
Document indexing is the process of extracting key information in the form of text, from a word document, image, PDF file or scanned document. Document indexing allows users to create an easily accessible repository of information related to their documents, such as title, subject, ID, serial number, amount, date, contact information, document status, etc. Users can also use indexing data to locate their documents much faster, by using the data as search keywords or criterias.
