How to add emails to GLOBODOX?
GLOBODOX allows you to add emails from your Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo & Hotmail accounts.
To configure your email account, click on ‘Tools’, click on ‘Email capture config’ and click on ‘Add’. In the ‘Add new server’ dialog, enter your Gmail pop settings, like ‘POP3 Server’ & ‘Port’, along with a display name & your email ID & password. You can find the pop settings for all your email accounts on Google.
**Note**: Make sure ‘Less secure apps’ & ‘POP download’ settings are enabled for your email account.
Then, click on ‘Settings’ and select a DB & choose the document type ‘Email’, in the ‘Choose DB’ & ‘Choose Target’ drop downs. Then, map your email’s fields to the fields that you have added to your document type ‘Emails’, like ‘CC’ to ‘CC’, ‘Subject’ to ‘Document title’, ‘Send date’ to ‘Date’ & so on. In the ‘Others’ node, you can also choose to ‘Import email attachments as documents’ or set a download interval.
Once you are done, click on ‘OK’ and close the dialog. Your emails & its attachments will be added to GLOBODOX.
