Benefits of roles in GLOBODOX?
GLOBODOX roles let you group privileges & assign them to multiple users simultaneously. Roles also help to transfer privileges to new employees. You can simply assign an outgoing employee’s role to a new employee, to ensure that all the information accessible to the earlier employee instantly becomes accessible to the new employee.
How to create a role in GLOBODOX?
To create a new role, click on ‘Settings’ and under ‘System Settings’ click on ‘Roles’. Now, click on the ‘New’ button on the ribbon bar. In the ‘New Role’ window, give the role a name & description, and click on ‘Save’.
Next, click on ‘Core Privileges’ to select which core privileges you would like to provide to the users assigned to this role. Select which entity you would like to provide privileges for from the ‘Choose Entity’ drop-down. Then, select the type of core privileges from the list of privileges available in the list below.
You can also provide other privileges from the ‘Other Privileges’ tab. Once you have selected all the privileges you want to provide, click on ‘Save & close’.
