What are saved searches & how do they help?
Saved searches are search queries or criterias that you can save & reuse whenever you want. Saved searches let you perform frequently used searches, without having to manually enter the search criteria every single time. GLOBODOX comes with three built-in saved searches for each user:
Documents checked out by me
Documents recently checked in by me
Documents recently added by me
GLOBODOX also allows you to save your own custom search query or criteria as a ‘Saved Search’.
How to create a parameterized ‘Saved Search’?
A parameterized ‘Saved Search’ is a ‘saved search’ that lets you change the values of your search conditions every time you reuse it. Let’s say you searched for all unpaid invoices with a total of more than $5000. While saving the search, check the box that says ‘Prompt for condition values before searching’, and click on ‘OK’. This saved search will prompt you to manually enter values for your conditions ‘Paid’ & ‘Total’ every time you reuse it, to suit your requirements.
