How to create a zone map in GLOBODOX?

To create a zone map, click on ‘Tools’, click on ‘Template manager’, click on ‘Zone maps’, and click on ‘New’. Now add a sample invoice and draw zones around the information you want Zone Maps to scan. For each zone, select the type & target in the Zone Properties. Click on ‘save’ and your zone map will be created.

How to apply a zone map to documents in GLOBODOX?

To apply a zone map, select the documents you want to map, right click on your selection and choose ‘Apply zone maps’ and choose the zone map you want. Your documents’ data fields will be populated as per the zone map.

You can also apply zone maps while simultaneously adding new documents to GLOBODOX, using the ‘Scan’ or ‘Add from disk’ options. Simply select the documents you want to add, select the destination profile as the zone map, and click on Add. Your documents will be added and their data fields will be populated as per the zone map.
