What are stack types & how do they help?
Stack types are a group of related documents that share the same indexing information. You can stack together documents related to a particular client, project, month, etc, to index & find them more easily. For example: If you create a stack called ‘client’, you will be able to create a separate stack of documents for every client. You can then categorise your stacks based on metadata like ‘client name, ‘address’, ‘contact number’, ‘email ID’, etc, and you can also link documents related to each client with their respective stack, like ‘invoices’, ‘purchase history’, ‘emails’, ‘ID documents’, etc, for easier retrieval.
How to link a stack with another stack?
To link two stacks, select one of the stacks, click on the ‘Links’ tab, go to the ‘Linked Stacks’ list, click on the drop down arrow & select ‘Link existing stacks’, search & select the stack you want to link in ‘Look Up’, and click on ‘OK’.
How to unlink a stack from another stack?
