What are saved searches & how do they help?
Saved searches are search queries or criterias that you can save & reuse whenever you want. Saved searches let you perform frequently used searches, without having to manually enter the search criteria every single time. GLOBODOX comes with three built-in saved searches for each user:
- Documents checked out by me
- Documents recently checked in by me
- Documents recently added by me
GLOBODOX also allows you to save your own custom search query or criteria as a ‘Saved Search’.
How to save & reuse a search?
To save a custom search, you will first need to create a search. To create a search, click on the folder or document type you want to search in, add your search criterias, and click on ‘Search’. Once your search is created, you can save it by clicking on ‘Save as’ and giving your custom search a name. You can access the ‘Saved search’ by expanding the ‘Saved searches’ node & clicking on ‘Custom searches’.
