What are tags & how do they help?
Tags are additional metadata that you can add to your documents, to differentiate documents from one another, and to find them faster when required. Let’s say you received an invoice for an advance payment, made to a client named XYZ, for the month of January. The tags for such an invoice would be ‘XYZ’, ‘January’ & ‘advance’. Once the tags are added, you can simply input the tags in GLOBODOX’s search bar, and all the documents containing those tags will be displayed in the results.
How to merge and rename tags?
To merge tags: Simply drag & drop one of the tags onto the other in the navigation panel.
To rename tags: Right click on the tag in the navigation panel, select rename & give your tag a new name.
How to delete a tag?
There are 3 ways to delete a tag:
You can go to the tabs bar above the preview page, select the tag you want to delete, and press the delete button (Best for deleting tags from individual documents)
Or you can go into the tag list in the navigation panel, select the document you want to remove the tag from, and click on delete while pressing the Shift key (Best for deleting tags from individual documents)
Or you can right click on the tag in the navigation panel, and select delete (Best for deleting a tag from all documents)
