What are stack types & how do they help?
Stack types are a group of related documents that share the same indexing information. You can stack together documents related to a particular client, project, month, etc, to index & find them more easily. For example: If you create a stack called ‘client’, you will be able to create a separate stack of documents for every client. You can then categorise your stacks based on metadata like ‘client name, ‘address’, ‘contact number’, ‘email ID’, etc, and you can also link documents related to each client with their respective stack, like ‘invoices’, ‘purchase history’, ‘emails’, ‘ID documents’, etc, for easier retrieval.
How to restrict a stack from any user?
To restrict a stack from any user, you will first need to login as the superadmin. Once logged in, go to the stack type, select the stack you want to make the restrictions to & select ‘Restrict’. Click on ‘Add’ to open the ‘Lookup’ dialog box, search for the user you want to restrict & click on OK. The selected user will no longer be able to view the restricted stack.
