What are stack types & how do they help?
Stack types are a group of related documents that share the same indexing information. You can stack together documents related to a particular client, project, month, etc, to index & find them more easily. For example: If you create a stack called ‘client’, you will be able to create a separate stack of documents for every client. You can then categorise your stacks based on metadata like ‘client name, ‘address’, ‘contact number’, ‘email ID’, etc, and you can also link documents related to each client with their respective stack, like ‘invoices’, ‘purchase history’, ‘emails’, ‘ID documents’, etc, for easier retrieval.
How to unlink documents that are linked to a stack?
To unlink a document, go to the stack type & select the stack containing the document. Select the document you want to unlink & hold Shift + click on delete to unlink the document from that stack.
